rilla: I lost you a few places, but I think you're suggesting that we're going to figure out enough about the brain to "prove" that we have free will and explain how it works? I think the opposite will happen. The more we study decision-making, the more we'll see that brain activity predictive of the action we're planning precedes the conscious thought.
