WTF is with the love for V? Empire Strikes Back was the worst of them all. Great cliffhanger but I never really liked it b/c nothing happened.

Saw it this weekend. Been busy moving and such.

I agree with most of what LeFou stated, but the single biggest problem to me is that Anakin's conversion was in no way believeable. Not even for a second. It was too sudden. He too quickly lost all morals. Further, assuming he did it all for Padame, then him killing/nearly killing her in the way it was shown doesn't make much sense either. Neither does him continuing to follow the rule of the dark side which he has felt was wrong from the beginning when not only did it fail to save her, but ultimately it led to her demise. To me, Anakin's character needed about 1/2 an hour more of development in that transition period for any of the above to make sense. If you can get past the "I'm going to kill you, evil Sith...I mean, I'm going to serve you and kill everyone I've known for you" blink-of-the-eye transition, the rest of the movie seemed decent to good. But since the whole point of the movie was to explain and show that transition, it's a pretty big thing to just get over.

I too finally just saw Revenge. My only question is, if the Jedi are so badass. Then why was it so easy for the clone commandos to gun them down? Shouldn't they have gotten some vibes with all the distubances in the force going around? I loved the movie, but am thinking Lucas kinda mailed it in just to wrap things up. Maybe some things (Like all of the prequels) were better left to the imagination. They way Obi Wan described the Jedi Knight Order in the original and the image I had in my mind, differ from that which Lucas put on the screen.

No wonder LOTR is owning Star wars my poll in another thread. I feel in my heart of hearts, that George Lucas would have better served the Star Wars legacy if he had made another trilogy that dealt with life after Return of the Jedi.

wait you put episode 1 over episode 2 ?! are you insane, episode 1 was butt awful... must have been left over hallucinations from george lucas's lsd parties back in the 70's ... worst film eva.

not saying episode 2 was all that great, but it was hella better then episode 1

and i'd put episode 3 over episode 6... the rest is fine.
