Doesn't surprise me. Stars is a monopoly. As a monopoly, you can jack up prices without too much of a backlash.

I'm not really sure what positives could come of a 'negotiation' that some players are trying to organize. What sort of bargaining power do we have? Threaten to stop playing on Stars and move somewhere else? Not likely. Too many people are too comfortable where they are, even after these changes will be implemented.

I trust that Stars made a calculated decision in determining how to maximize their profits in 2012, all while considering the dozens of players who will refuse to ever play there again.
