Multiple cars were parked under underpasses in an attempt to avoid the hail. My crazy/dumb/stupid 21 year old invincible ass decided to keep pressing forward. Made it back perfectly fine.
However, while watching the news when I got to my parents (little to no rain here), I found out that a tornado passed across the interstate I was on like 20 minutes after I went through. There was also considerable damage back near my university with 2 deaths. I have heard those deaths occurred on the interstate when the tornado touched down and crossed the highway, but I'm uncertain.
Either way, crazy stuff.
Stacks, are you talking about the storm that blew through a few days ago? I heard that tornado went down the interstate tossing cars around like a 4 yo with matchbox toys? That was a pretty rough one (although my area didn't get too much, I live in SC KY).
