stream sites seized

    Default stream sites seized

    channelsurfing.net and atdhe.net were seized today. I use those to watch a bit of stuff. Anybody know of other sites like these that are still up?

    I streamed a ton on Quicksilverscreen through the forums. No doubt they will be next though.

    So dumb to waste time shutting these sites down. For every 1 site that's shut down there's a half dozen more popping up.

    Thanks for the recs. I need these to watch UFC and Strikeforce at the very least. I'll take any good site you know of.


    Also, piracy actually improves Big Content's profits. Free advertising and vast majority of people who pirate wouldn't get the content otherwise. Only an itty bitty percentage of consumers who have the money won't buy the product. This changes if the market is saturated and pirating is super easy with top notch quality, which isn't the case

    I fucking cried when I went to atdhe tonight, their vshare is normally perfect for my dorms, where the free internet is max 500kbps.

    I can't wait to move into a house and sopcast 2mbps streams.

    idk how useful it is for American sports, but the sopcast links for football are absolutely amazing on this site: MyP2P.eu :: Free Live Sports on your PC, Live Football, MLB, NBA, NHL and more...

    I'm using google chrome also. strange thing is that my Virus protection kept shutting off after the download started. I terminated the download and had to have McAffee use the virtual Technician to fix the problem today.

    New bill upgrades unauthorized Internet streaming to a felony

    The text of S. 978 isn't yet available from the official THOMAS system, but Klobuchar's office sent us a copy of the brief bill. Under current law, "reproducing" and "distributing" copyrighted works are felony charges and cover P2P transfers and Web downloads. But streaming is a "public performance" rather than a "distribution"—and holding a public performance without a proper license is not a felony. S. 978 adds "public performance" to the felony list.
    Michael O’Leary, executive vice president, government affairs for the MPAA, added: “Criminals are stealing, trafficking, and profiting off the investment that our workers devote to creating the quality films and TV shows that entertain a worldwide audience and bolster the American economy. The online distribution mechanisms utilized by thieves may differ, but to the 2.4 million American workers whose livelihoods depend on our industry, the end result of content theft is the same: lost jobs, declining incomes, and reduced health and retirement benefits for them and their families. We thank Senators Klobuchar and Cornyn for introducing this important legislation to standardize the legal treatment of online content theft and helping ensure that federal law keeps pace with the changing face of criminal activity. We look forward to working with Members in the House and Senate towards its swift passage.”
    On a side note, this is what the *criminals* see when they try to make legal use of the content in question

    Not only does pirating bring more money to our corporate overlords than without, but criminalizing and prosecuting enhances that even moreso. It's a fucking rapefest. Selling product to everybody who can afford it isn't enough, they must criminalize those who can't afford their product
