    Default Taking an (Involuntary) Break

    Guys,

Thanks for all the help. Just when I was getting really good at this poker thing too.

Being deployed for 6-7 months to good old Iraq at the end of this month. Don't think I'll have too much access to online poker there, though I am crossing my fingers.

I will still be checking this site as often as possible for updates/new hand histories...though I am sure my game will suck from disuse when I get back....grrr.

    Yes, please be careful.
This is a true story. I'm not a paid actor. FTR does not guarantee any results. People can and do lose money when playing poker.

GL Moiraine. What unit are you with, if you don't mind me asking. Depending on where you're at, I might know someone who's going with you.

I was supposed to go to the 82nd (read: Iraq) when I left Korea last year, but my orders got changed at the last second so I got a cushy assignment to San Antonio. I'll probably get there at some point though. Good luck over there and stay safe.

Army Aviation all the way. I'll be in the sandbox (if everything goes according to plan) in about three years. I'm sure we'll still be there.
