So xbox 360 or ps3? i cant decide which one i want. I really only want the 360 for halo 3, and its much cheaper, especially after they drop the price (which im sure they will soon). The ps3 though looks like it will be much better. Thoughts?

I saw the preview for FF12 today. Looked cool until they were like "SHE MUST LEAD THEM TO THE FUTURE!!!" SHE?!?!?!?! I'd almost say the technology alone makes the PS3 worth getting.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on getting it right away. I figure I'll wait for the first few waves to come out and check out the reviews, etc. But most likely I'll end up with one - and get this: it will be my very first non-cartridge system. That's right kids, time to give the 'ole NES some down-time.

I got a Sanyo HD projector last year. It kicks major ass. There is nothing like watching HD sports at 110". Its totally wicked!

Unless you have a massive screen or you sit very close to your screen you won't be able to see the difference (http://www.hometheatermag.com/gearworks/0105viewvrez/).

Preliminary response of the UHDV was somewhat negative. This was not because of the lack of the promised technology, but more in the fact that it was too good. Some viewers got motion sickness when viewing the video image because the image was so close to reality.

someone was telling me that the PS3 comes with a surround sound system. any confirmation on this?

if it does, then i will buy it for a dvd player/surround sound system alone. i dont play much PS2 anymore (mostly because of poker), but i would play some if i had a PS3
