Here's some more details.
Saturday: I'm not sure what everyone did during the day because I played 2-5 NL at the Bellagio for like 6 hours. I had lunch with Chase (Trikflow) because everyone else was still sleeping at 1:00. He is really cool.
Most hilarious hand of the session: fish raises to $20 in early position at a full table, I make it $80 from the big blind, he calls. Flop is 45J rainbow, I think for a few seconds and throw out a Benjamin Franklin, he quickly makes it $200 more, and I of course go all-in for like $500 total. He insta-called with 77. live poker. I would have lost a lot of money on the trip if it weren't for that hand.
I cashed out awhile later and called up George to see what was going on for dinner. He said they were at Blondie's at Planet Hollywood watching UFC. Bryce kept trying to convince me to take 3:1 odds on some fight, but I know nothing about UFC so I figured he just thought I was a prop bet fish. I think he made the bet with Tyson instead (and won obv). Here's a picture of our table.

from left to right, Tyson, George, Bryce, natdang (occasional FTR poster), Jabu, Jabu's GF, Gabe, Chase, Eric.
After that I was on my way back to the Bellagio but I ran into Gabe and some other guys who were going to the Flamingo poker room so I went there instead. Gabe, Ben (sauce123), Eric, and Xianti sat at a sick 2-5 NL table where a couple of like 5K pots took place. I'm sure one of them will write a trip report later but I only railed that table for like half an hour so I don't really know what happened. Instead I sat at an amazing 1-2 NL table. George's favorite Jeff Garcia look-alike was there, and he got stacked when some fish called a huge all-in overbet with a naked flush draw and beat his two pair. Afterwards he complained about what a terrible call the guy made. I thought George might enjoy that story, probably no one else cares though. I wish I could have sat at that table all night, but I wanted to get up early so I went to bed at 2.
I got up on Sunday morning at 7, ate breakfast picked up a rental car and drove into Red Rock Canyon. Some people questioned why I was interested in anything other than drinking and gambling, but there's no way I'd be on vacation this close to a park this awesome and not go there at least once. It was so hot that all my food melted in my backpack and my neck is now the same color as a tomato, but it was totally worth it. Some pictures:

picture of the mountain I went to the top of

close to the base of it

almost there, there wasn't really a trail close to the top, you had to climb over a lot of rocks

view of Las Vegas from the summit, this was amazing, picture isn't that great because of the sun

looking the other direction from the summit, not a lot going on in most of Nevada

some other guys got to the top while I was sitting up there demolishing a 6-pack of bottled water and enjoying the view, so I had them take a picture of me
Got back to the Flamingo at about 3 and crashed for a few hours, then I had a ballin' all-you-can-eat sushi dinner at the Rio with Bryce and Eric. i'm usually scared of all-you-can-eat because the quality of the food is usually mediocre but this place was really good. They were out of toro though, so rigged. Went back to the Flamingo and played in the home game basically until I left for the airport at 4 AM.
