musos - trust me on this one. There's some interesting shit in the discography. I've pretty much had two absolutely non-event fights in my life, one was with this guy. That should get a few people on here buying his albums just on principle.

Yeah, plenty of guitar face but his ability to play like he just doesn't give a fuck and still sound incredible is second to none. Was srsly a great fucking show in a small LA venue downtown. Just fucking awesome.

I'd gladly have suffered through 80s music as an adult to be around for the 1970's and a show like this:

Nice KoRn! I was born in '70 so obv I was too young for real Sabbath. But I got to see Ozzy with Randy Rhoads at a fest like that in the '80s. Was none less awesome.

I miss 90s rock music. Guns n roses and korn made such an impression on me as a teen that I still have regular sessions of listening to both of them, generally drunk, which I love.

Wow, Josh Eustis of Telefon TelAviv is touring with them, and they're keeping Cortini and, obviously, Reznor himself. Sure is leaving a lot of wiggle room for having a lot of electronic layering.

Jackvance sent me on a nostalgia trip:

I was at their cd presentation at a music store in 97 with about 30 other people where I stole the record. That they have 80k youtube hits blows my mind.
"I don't really care, but this is not how I want it"
... which curiously enough reflects my feelings about ebretta's contribution.

I had this song on one of a couple of 150min. tapes I took to england sometime in the 90's. I was walking aimlessly around a small fisher town near Dover, listening to my walkman, thinking about a girl back home and this song cut in just when I walked past a sidestreet that gave way of the sun setting over the ocean. Can't get it out of my head ever since. Do I care that it's just a shitty song to you? Not one bit!

Oh good, another band to get confused with Deerhunter and Deerhoof. Are fabricated compound words with words that begin with "D" and "H" like the golden ratio of band naming or some shit?

The BBC Sessions version "Haunted by a Freak" is one of my favorite live performances. I mean, it's not particularly different from the Happy Songs version and it's not any sort of particularly elaborate composition, but I don't know, I just can't get enough of it.

Any metalheads here? What's your honest opinion of this? The drummer is the little brother of a good friend of mine, so I'm excited for them, but as someone who doesn't listen to much metal it all sounds the same to me.

    Name is bad
Pic of band members giving the finger is bad

Not my style of metal....I dont like the vocals. Drumming and guitar is fine, vocals are my hang up.

haha, I just wrote a post saying it was pretty crap and realised I wasn't even listening to the right thing (website isn't loading properly in my defence)

Band name is awful and music is uninspiring. Maybe it's not just my thing though.

You should listen to Agalloch if you haven't already. I'd suggest "The Mantle", from what I've heard though they're all meant to be pretty good but I haven't listened to them.
