haha yah... and when they use your computer and ask how you use the other monitor, then you just slide the mouse over for them.. they are so amazed, they seem to think its magic.

Looks like it's an overwhelming majority, but I'm giong to add my vote to the hat too.

Dual monitors. You'll wonder how you ever did without.

    QFT.

I didn't give my reasoning, but I love having two monitors for just about anything I'm doing at my computer. If I'm surfing I might have some other programs up on my other monitor (AIM, WINAmp, word documents, whatever). If I'm working I like to have word documents on one (or both) with possible web sites up on the other so I can cut and paste easier. With poker it's easy, too, you can have all of your tables on one screen and any poker clients/software up on the other, along with whatever else you need to keep you going through a session.

When I'm at work with my one shitty monitor I hate it. Never again will I have just one monitor.

Looks like they have only one left though...

There was a thread about back in April when I got mine, and they had over 100 in stock.

Still the best price you will find... $142 USD that's like ...$70 CAD.
Haha, now it's our turn to be ignorant!

Two normal screens should be fine, two wide-screens might be a little much as you might have to turn your head or something to see the edges of each screen.

Jishu. Tiger Direct on Woodbine and 7 or in the west end at 427 and Queensway. Always great deals, but not always on the 204b's. I got my 22' WS Acer at Costco. $10 less than Tiger Direct but TG gave me my 19" for $104.

    Bang for poker buck: 2x20". Balliness/movies/games/6-tabling w/o resizing: 30".

    30" + 20" is sweet for tables on the 30", lobbies/etc on the 20".

ok so right now I already have a 19 inch dell.. normal 1280x1084... I don't want to be frivilous since I could just pick up another 19" for around $100, $150 now. Or I could go for a bigger, widescreen monitor that is roughly 19" vertically and use that as my main. It probably gives me close to the same square inchage as 2 204b's. Or would that be goofy?

i have a 19" dell and a 22" widescreen dell that has the same vertical dimension. This setup works perfect imo.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    Exactly.

The Graphics card makes one side of the screen the top of the screen so you can rotate your monitor onto its side and use it in portrait mode instead of landscape mode.

Im going to head to costco and be cheap and pick up a 22" WS dell that goes with the existing 19" i have already. a few years down the road when the prices of 30" lcds are reasonable (they can only make a monitor so large before it becomes impractical) I will get one then.
