But they did something, where you can only login on the computer you orginally register too. There were obviously ways to enable other computers if need be, but it was a few extra steps that required extra information. It didnt involve IPs it was something software related on the computer.
Yes, on all of the Cryptologic network sites before you log into your account on a new computer you need to "register" your account on it using some other info from when you first made your account. I don't think it takes IP into account, but it might. I do know that reinstalling the software requires you to re-"register" it before you log in.
Taking the extra step to ask the simple stuff like the answer to your security question, birthdate etc, would probably be enough.
Yeah. Maybe a 2nd password to be able to change IP addresses, chances of a key logger catching it would be a lot slimmer.
In my email to Poker Stars after I talked about will I asked them why they do not have a feature like this and the person said they would forward the email to development, so heres to hoping.
