Not really a problem, as you are technically correct. Though not stated as such, I think OP's point with this thread was to hear about some lesser-known but great movies that may have slipped by the mainstream.

Well then I think your choice of equilibrium is perfect.
Another really good action (martial arts) movie is ong-bak. Also any john woo/chow yun fat movie, while not technically flops since they did very well in the hong kong cinemas, but were never here in theaters to my knowledge.
