My understanding was (and so was my opponent's) that the $60 was to go to the winner. We talked about it at the table after the game. At that time I did not promise to him the transfer - as I was not sure if the screen name is sufficient.
Anyway - I will know for an other time to interpret "correctly" how a deal is done, and I don't really mind having sent the money.
I have not heard from him - if he received it or anything...
