Default Doyles Room accepts US Players again!

After its switch to the Prima Network, Doyles Room shortly thereafter had to stop accepting US customers for real money play. Doyle was quoted on a few different shows and interviews about how terrible he felt about the UIGEA and how bad he thought this was for poker in general. All in all, this decision was above his head because he obviously would want everyone to be able to play.

Well earlier this week, it was announced that Doyles Room once again is taking US customers for real money play! This is great news for US players and online poker, and we hope more rooms will start to move back.

The only downside about this is being a part of the Prima network, they can only partially accept certain states. 12 states in all are still blocked, because of certain regulating laws at the state level; Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and Washington. If you reside in one of those states, unfortunately you still will not be able to play at Doyles Room. However, I believe they are taking the correct steps and hopefully one day will be able to accept all of the US again.

WOW! Thats Great news, Although , I am Canadian , Eh!
I really missed the American players , Now maybe they'll
have games in better time zones , rather than all geared to
    Europian Players.

    gmml,

you seem to be the "calendar guy" here. so, was there, and will there be again, a "money added tourney" over at Doyle's?

    any plans?

I'm in one of those states that still won't have access (WA), but any news about opening things back up is still good news!

There hasn't yet, but we are communicating with them now to get some setup. You'll know when I know!

    very nice, indeed.

what i would like to see, if possible, is Eric, gmml, or anyone affiliated with FTR ask Mark what their "vision" is for re-entering the US?

how do they plan to take on FTP, AP, UB, Stars? how do they plan to carve out some market share now that these other competitors showed the courage to not leave in the first place.

i would love to see an answer for that one.

    thx, guys.

My guess is that they'll continue to offer nice bonuses and give away copies of Doyle Brunson's Super System books. No other room has the guy who wrote the Bible of poker on its team.

    Correct Eric;

DoylesRoom.com will continue to offer the best bonuses and promotions; in addition to that, the World Famous Bounty Tournament and its 100% rebate is one of a kind in the online gamming industry...yesterday's bounty was a lot of fun and I don't think AP, UB or any other has a tournament like this, not only for the money that you can make here but because you are playing against Doyle Brunson guys, c'mon, the King of Poker!!

Also, our 24/7 awarded customer service is always there when you need it, including our affiliates support. What could be more important than to get your issues solved quickly? I mean, in the industry, there are very few rooms where you can call and actually get to talk to someone, or chat or get an email responded.

Our vision: to be number one online poker room on the internet by giving the player the best customer service and the best promotions and tournaments online, in addition to that, the chance to learn from the only living legend of poker....Doyle Brunson.

They take some US players but not all. Michigan, where I live, is not welcome. It looks like they couldn't survive without US players. My feelings are that they didn't want me as a player and now I don't want to play there. The hell with them.

dude, thats not a Doyle's thing. please put the blame where it belongs.

    your state gov't.

anyone else notice that the "usual suspects" are the "blue" states? your state may be a bit too liberal to allow you your personal freedoms.

start there before complaining about the poker rooms. the poker rooms would gladly take your money or mine the same. think about it.
