A lot of people said they like the rules, however when you go look at the amount of people signed into today's tourney its only 4 lol. I geuss nobody listened.

what if you are more of a reader than a poster, i read the posts and most of the time just have nothing to say and dont know what to respond too,. i feel like i have to make something up

and btw if you want to participate a freeroll tournament on pokerstars you also need a ticket how can i get on of those ?

Try going to the Beginners circle and reading all of the stickied posts in the Digest, and the same for all of the posts in the strategy section.Then if you have any questions about what you have read , post them in the beginners section so that you can understand and improve as a player.
Once you've gone through this process you'll be itching to try out your new found skills on the cash tables and freerolls will be a thing of the past for you. At that stage you might well find that you are eligible as a valued member and can play in the freeroll , not as a free shot at money , but to be able to test yourself against better players and find out what skills you still need to improve.

just got to this site today, im still looking around to find out whats going on, but it sure looks interesting, ive been playing at pokerstars about a year..... I think lol, and could sure make some comments on good and bad beats

Yes!! I probably belonged to that forum, freerolllosers! So many forums have come and gone, crashing and burning before they really got off the ground. I like the idea here of no post count required...Pressure's Off!!!...My posts will come, so that's a good thang.

If you have found a workable method to keep out the trny crashers, I'd love to be a part of it! You should package and sell the process! lmao!!

I like to check in to forums I like on a regular basis, both to see if there is anything noteworthy going on, and to offer up pearls of confusion...oops...wisdom, to the masses.

this being my first article ever put on any site,i really dont know if this is the right place,but,here goes.
I have been reading the posts on sng multi table tactics.Over the previous three days ive been continually losing....BAD...i then joined FTR and went through some of the posts on strategies and such.I dont play for alot of money,so the information I got was priceless!! I have since increased my bankroll by 35-40%.Though they may not be pros, (yet) they really know what theyre talking about.

Name came with those numbers because I have a yahoo email account and those are the numbers I had to use in order to activate my account. What levels do ppl play at here? Also, I am having trouble depositing real money on pokerstars as a U.S player. My bank accounts do not let internet gaming transactions, any advise on how I can fund my account?

the sarcastic answer would be by cashing in he freeroll...except that you wouldn't qualify yet. If you're serious have a look down the online poker rooms section of the forum and there are some posts there, talking of ways to deposit onto Pokerstars.

If you log into pokerstars and go to the cashier there are a few ways to deposit money for US players. One of the best ways is purchasing a Visa gift card. You can get it at a local store like a regular gift card and it works like a Visa with a limited amount. Should solve your problem as your bank won't get involved.

also the post count will not accumulate until your 10 day trial expires so you can't post whore trying to become an "active member" and post a ton of random posts just to get numbers. It keeps the freerollers from attempting to count amongst our community

Im past my 10 day trial period yet my post count hasnt gone up and ive definatly posted more than once on this site... Ive actually been pretty active posting on it everyday

now I see what these forums are all about and i'm really starting to like them. when i first joined I thought it was a place to get free rolls. It took me a few days to figure it out, Im known to be hard headed sometimes. I think they can be very helpful to peoples games who are here to really here to improve the game. Its not about winning and loseing its all about winng.

well im not sure yet on these forums I know I started wars in another one but thats because I thought that was what you have to do but the funnything is I still not sure what to do .except read and write something not sure if its better to start wars or to seek out sound advice just the last one sent me on wild goose chase so now everytime I go to that forum i just want to piss people off. I just write whatever comes to mind and sometimes i drive myself mad lol but on FTR I will be respectful unless someone declares WAR

This is poor logic at best

I understand the need for rules to limit "free roll whores" from getting passwords. Otherwise the quality of play goes down. However, the criteria (or lack there of) makes it sound very arbitrary and or WHO you know not what you contribute. After all newbie’s need to see value or they won’t contribute and the quality of members will suffer. Your defeating your own goals and objects. The other inconsistance is that signing up for a poker site from FTR gets you into certain games. Where is the quality contribution there. Enough said.

On the subject of poker I would like to comment on the quality of some of the sites. I have a back ground in computer software. Of all the poker playing programs I like Bodog’s the best. There are a few features it could use (like a simpler of more user friendly hand review) but the goods far out way the bads. Great site for the beginner or old pro.
