I think what crazybear is forgetting is yes it's arbitrary and yes it's exclusive, because it is an FTR "PRIVATE" freeroll. Just because it's called a freeroll doesn't make it free to all comers. This is a tournament given by FTR to reward it's long standing contributors, or in the case of the exclusive stars freerolls for people that have downloaded and installed stars through this site, it's to reward those players for the service they have provided (DUCY). I think this feeling of entitlement that you freerollers have is what causes you all to suck so bad at poker. You have no ability to see anything for what it really is.

:P I DON'T THINK I MISSED THE POINT. I AM NOT SOME RANDOM "FREEROLLER" I AM A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING WITH FTR AND THE POKER FORUM. I HAVE BEEN USING FTR TO IMPROVE MY POKER SKILLS AND I HAVE RETURNED THE FAVOR BY SIGNING UP FOR FULL TILT AND ABSOLUTE POKER THROUGH FTR. HOWEVER, I USED POKER NEWS WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR ULTIMATE BET BECAUSE THEY ARE BIG AND A VERY "USER" FRIENDLY TO NEW MEMBERS. JYMS COMMENTS MAKE ME THINK THAT THE RULES ARE ARBITRARY TO MAKE IT EXCLUSIVE TO A FEW WITHIN THE POKER FORUM, NOT FOR NEW MEMBERS OR EVEN THE AVERAGE MEMBER. THAT IS FINE IF THAT IS THE AGENDA, BUT DON’T PRETEND THAT THE GUIDE LINES ARE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND PARTICIPATION OF THE MEMBERSHIP.

I've already told you which forum to post such commentary in. I'm not going to peruse the forum to find an appropriate topic for you to post it in. Once you start participating in our various discussions, you'll find that our forum is organized nicely and getting involved in appropriate topics will not be difficult.

And please avoid using ALL CAPS unless you intend to show that you are yelling at us. Are you yelling at me?

Signed on to get the password for tonights game at AP. True I have not been on this forum much since the last problems with the payouts for the buy in game at AP sevaral months ago.

Why?

Because I play at AP have money at AP and dont want to have money at a dozen different sites where 8 of these are going to be problems down the road.

Hope this makes some sense to the powers that be and that you see fit to email the password.

i always liked this forum and i have to respect the policies as being designed by people with a broader understanding of the goals of all parties concerned

I hope that someday I will understand the objective of having a 3 player freeroll where the pool is divided up 9 ways
