ok "nicknames" are made for fun and poker knowledge like chip tricks. theres no real reason for them its just fun and shows your experience. just because you think its horrible means you dont understand the reason for the nickname and should find out so you can enjoy these names not gripe | |

Also nicknames came about as a way to remember what cards you have so you don't have to keep looking at them. Which can be used as a way to judge an opponents hand strength. (Pro's and Con's to that approach) | |

right, but when it's a page on poker lingo- all the hand names aren't used on a regular basis besides a few, and when half of the names are situational, players would be better off making their own names for random hands like that. |
