Default ATTENTION: All Members Urged to Change Passwords

There was an attack on some poker forums this past weekend and we believe FTR was also targeted. Although there is no real sensitive information attached to your FTR account, we urge that you change your passwords as soon as you can. Also, we suggest that your FTR password should not the same as any poker site, especially if your screen name is the same as your FTR account.

Let me know if you have any questions.

To change your password, please click 'Profile' along the top of this page and then click 'Edit Email & Password' along the left margin.

    Give me some rep son.
That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

NOTE - We usually do not allow name changes, however if your FTR account name matches any of your poker site screen names I will make an exception. Please PM me if you need a name change.

Boog's internet is down right now. But he just phoned me saying he thinks he may have been targeted in this attack and wanted me to let you know right away that he wants his name changed to Bufu immediately so he can fool the haxxors.

Yes, they're hashed. The actual form is

    md5(md5(password).salt)

with . meaning concatenation; salt is a 3-character sequence assigned randomly for each user during registration.

There is no way for anyone to find any member's password by downloading any file on our site or having database access. Everything just looks like a random string of numbers. Your passwords are safe, this was done as a security measure and it makes sense to not use the same password as any poker site anyway.
