I noticed in my profile that you get credit points for participating in forums what are these used for.

you get the points by rating threads or by starting threads.

Call me crazy here but don't you think you should get points by contributing to existing threads instead of starting them? I can see the point if you start a great thread and it ends up getting archived or some other shit. But to encourage an open competition on who starts the most threads is going to lead forum chaos.

I agree I think you should get more for providing helpfull advice to questions or posting threads that gets some spades. I enjoy posting here and reading but would hate to see things go to posting just to get points.

I agree with this.

Also you should get more pts if your thread reaches epic level of pages. And the communtiy forum I hope counts. Otherwise I would get no points.Or maybe I need to get into the other forums again.

You can see credits? Hmmmm... it's supposed to be configured right now so only admins can see them.

At the moment, the credits don't do anything (which is why there isn't an official explanation on how the points are accrued). I'm not sure that we will do anything with the credits, but you never know.

And I agree with your thoughts on how the credits should be given, but the admin options for it are limited and I don't fully have control over how they are accrued. But if we start using the credits, basically anything can be modified, so your feedback is still welcome.
