First new post

In the "posts since last visit" When I click on the "First new post" Icon it's taking me to either the top of the thread in newer threads I have been too or a spot I have been to in recent past (say two weeks ago) on longer threads. Has something been changed??


Edit: It's also doing it when clicking from within the subforums as well.

Seeing a thread with this title and you posting in it made me hope so much that it was really some spammer posting a 'hai, i look forward to learning many poker knowledges' type of post, and you replying some shit about banning them.

Yea, it's weird. It seems to only be on my computer on Mozilla and XP. I'll have a look. I am trying another computer today and no problem so disregard it for now

I have the problem at home with firefox, but not at work...with firefox.

Since no one likes my jokes anyway, I figured I'd chime in and say: Yeah I have this issue with firefox as well. Vista.

Still working fine for me. But I asked our guy to check it out and see if he can find any reasons as to why this would be happening.

Hopefully he sees something. I've entirely given up on the last post link and just click the last page link instead. It usually gets me where I'm going quicker.

Yea, the "pictures that make you LOL" thread and the "randomness" thread now take me two pages back and have been taking me to the same post every time someone bumps the thread.

There is definitly something wrong with it. I am getting this on all 3 computers I am using.

Our programmer said he see's something wrong there, but can't figure out what is causing it yet. Also strange how it works fine for some but not others. Will update more later this week.

The only big change for my end is that I am now signing in all the time instead of having FTR remember me. I'm not on my own computer until September first, so i don't know if that helps. I don't sign out, but do need to sign in after some time.

I misunderstood the issue. Mine works the first time always. But if a new post is made in a thread that I have read already, the first new post takes me to the original new post. It didn't always do this.

Dammit now it's doing the stuff jyms was talking about.

Got this problem at the moment at my family home, especially in the WW thread. No biggie. I'm on FF WinXP here.

Yea I cna't solve it at my end. I've tried everything with cookies and certificates. Even re-logged in and out several times.

Experiencing the same thing in the WW thread. Not just first post but also when clicking to permalinks if that helps at all.
