last read post?

Heya guys... you know I lub the site.

I was following the lovely thread about the Stars tourney structure in the MTT forum, and I remembered a feature from another forum long ago. (Yes, I was a MMORPG junkie back when). Anyway, what this board would do was , in any given thread, "remember" which post in the thread was the last one you had viewed. Then, when you went back to that same thread later in the day or something and clicked on it, it would automatically orient your page so that you were viewing your most recent unread post.

No idea if this can be done or not, but I can think of a few threads where it might be very nice ... the Winner's Circle, for example, or Johnny's donkaments threads or similarly other people's "Operation" threads.

Thoughts?

Click on the arrow immediately to the left of the updated topic title. It will jump you to the newest post in that topic.

If you click on the arrow immediately to the right of the name in the "Last Post" column, it will jump you to the very last post in that topic.


You guys really should start clicking on everything and see what they do. You're missing out on all these neat tricks.
