I have been bored and since twoplustwo is down today, I decided to spend my time reading this forum.

I am truly shocked at how bad some of the advice is on here. Seems like I can count the number of succesful players on one hand (obv. slight exaggeration). There are some posters- gabe, rilla, lukie, aces, etc. that are pretty good and very knowledgable yet dont post enough poker content to make a meaningful difference in anyones improvement.

First off- people are making begginer guides who have no clue what they are talking about. Most of thier information is based off short sized samples. Making general rules in such a situational dependant game is sometimes fine, but too much of it really hinders individual thinking that should be developed on your own.

Second off- many of hands pasted receive ridiculously bad advice. So many hands are terribly misplayed and people don’t understand the basic fundamentals. If you want an example just look at every post in the small stakes forum.

Cliff notes:
-Any ssnl or msnl player is really impeding their progress by getting bad advice.

Solution:
Since I obviously look like an ass, if I just complain about advice I will go out of my way to try to reply to posts and offer my insight into hands and ideas.
