I've been playing .25/50 and .50/1 limit over at Poker Stars for the last month. Started with $50. Current balance is $117. Reading everything I could about poker, including Sklansky has helped immensely. I definetly see the benefits to playing NL, but I feel like I need more confidence and a better grasp of how to play certain hands before I do. |

Yeah, that's fair, I started with limit too, it was cool for several months, I was very comfortable with the limit game - but it was a grind to make any money. Not sure what sparked my attempt at no limit - probably got home late after partying and had the drunken courage to give it a shot. Probably doubled up and realized - Wow!! | |

Caught a monster straight at the .50/1 limit table. Pulled down a $25 pot with a maniac calling into my every raise. Decided to move over to the .10/.25 NL tables. Up to $162 as of now. Pulled down my first all-in call with KK(I actually called someone's all-in call). The first one has to be the hardest. |
