Default new section for low stakes strategy?

You know how 2+2 has a sub folder for discussing strategy on micro stakes? Well, I like it. It helps weed out the uber genius strategies that would never be necessary on the stakes that I play. Any thoughts on adding something like that here?

It'll make our forum look silly if no one ever posts in the matching high stakes forum. I'd have to make up hands just so it doesn't look like we're all poor.

So today at the 4000/8000 mix game...

But just adding a micro stakes forum might be a good idea.

Yea, when i said "low stakes" in the subject, I actually meant micro. I define micro as anything lower than .25/.50

2+2 defines micro as 1/2 or lower

Wouldn't strategies that apply to .25-.50 apply to lower stakes? Maybe not, if everyone calls everything since the stakes are low...

    I've got lower standards.

Maybe, but I tend to think the play at really really low stakes has more randomness to it, in my experience. There seems to be a lot more unpredictable play and greater variety of players.

I don't really see a need to section it down further.

We had to break out the limit/NL forums, but other than that.. Other than that I think its fine.

I feel it would be a good idea.

It would be great to have a solid boundary to distinguish higher stake strategy and micro strategy, high and low stake limit poker can be 2 different games entirely.

You can't say 5/10 plays the same as .01/.02
