Omaha-specific forum?

2+2 has Omaha forums, so perhaps we should make one too?

I think the interest in Omaha on is sufficient to warrant a devoted forum. But I am of course biased. What do you all think?

Well, similar bias here - as an Omaha player, of course I'm inclined to say yes. However, it's rather hard to argue against the fact that there have only been like 6 posts so far this month on the "Every Which Poker But Hold'Em" forum. Most of the posts there are about Omaha, but the low count means it's not getting crowded in there with other forms, either.

All I can come up with is that the presence of an Omaha-specific forum would encourage more people to post there. Or something like that.

Bingo. We usually create a new forum when the amount of content is already enough for a forum of its own.

We've had exceptions (the High Stakes forum, for example), however. I do see that nearly all of the recent topics in the EWPBHE forum is Omaha. If you guys can round up some more of the FTR Omaha posters (or even Omaha lurkers) to post in this thread saying they want an Omaha forum, I'll consider it. I just want to be sure that the Omaha players in EWPBHE aren't just a handful of members.

I believe that if you build it, they will come. I promise to post enough content to get things started
