Posting a link

So I was on the PaHud forum and someone asked a question about where to get info on what the stats mean. I tried to post a link to FTR but it told me my post count was too low to post links. Would something like this prevent spammers from the posting the crap you seen the other day? I don't think you need to make it a high number, 20 or so would probably suffice. The spammer would only try once or twice and move on maybe? Has this been tried?

This is not a function built in to phpBB2. It's probably available as a mod (modification). We might look into it with the next major phpBB upgrade.
