Second, the rejigged drop-down nav doesn't include all the forums. It should or it shouldn't be there.
Third, the 'western' color scheme looks incredibly dated now. It doesn't do the advertisers any favours either, cause it makes their ads look crappy.
All of this, but he's missing one thing, this site seriously lacks visual balance. Like badly.
Still not clear on why the left nav was removed. This site is harder to get around now. I totally didn't realize so many forums were missing from the drop down. Shows how little I leave the community. But Warpe's right, every single one of them should be in there. And look at your Poker Rooms drop down, the text is running right into the border. Also, Poker Download runs into its arrow. Widen it out and you can say Poker Downloads and sound like English is this site's first language.
I'm not sure what it is about the drop downs but I don't like the way they look. Like I mentioned in another thread, fixing the lines heights will help. The space between the title text lines is too much, maybe a line height of 14px would help. And widen out the content of the drop down area. It seems so oddly narrow when you keep it the same width as the tabs. Up the content links font size to 12px and that makes a world of difference. Their line height at 13px helps too. And bump the top/bottom padding of the links in the drop down to 5px.
Also don't like the site width making use of the full screen. It works on some sites but not on forums. There's a reason magazines break up their text into columns, it's uncomfortable for people to have to read such wide text areas.
