Is there an option to ban yourself for X number of days?

Like could I get banned for a month or two weeks or something like that? Kind of like the sites have to prevent problem gambling or whatever?

When I got busy with school I would just log-out. I hate potentially missing posts, so I would occasionally browse, but wouldn't log-in to post because I knew I'd either spend a couple hours catching up on everything I missed, or simply miss a lot.

That might only work for me though.
