View posts since last visit

So I login automatically, "view posts since last visit", start reading, go back to "view posts since last visit" and most of the posts are gone. This happens regularly. WTF?

Say you last looked yesterday at 8pm. You come on this morning and press the link. You get everything from 8pm yesterday. You need to read ALL of the results before pressing the link again, or you only get results from the time that you logged in this morning.

this is happening in the middle of a session...

Do you have the "remember me" box checked when you sign in? It could be related to that. If you don't want to be remembered just explicitly click "Log out [ Warpe ]" in the upper right corner before closing the browser.

Then to pull something out of my ass, it could be a cookies thing, if you have them blocked.

Addition: OK, this just happened to me too. Maybe they changed something on the server, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

I log in automatically and once I have FTR up I leave it up. It's like the site thinks I have logged out and logged in again, even when I haven't. Maybe there's a brief interruption in my connection to the site that I don't notice. I'm have an extremely reliable DSL connection, but I know my connection to FTR isn't always the best...

ive found this to happen a few times. i moved house to a slightly flawed DSL connection. only happened about 2-3 times in last few months tho

I've never actually used this feature. Maybe that's why I find trying to keep up in other forums a little too time consuming. Interesting.

Just make it your main bookmark for FTR, instead of the one you have for the commune.
