What's my play here?
Call me crazy here, but I usually fold preflop (possibly limp). KQ suited IS a nice hand, but UTG... gross. You're getting yourself into a domination problem alot of times with this hand and you are out of position. All you do by raising is fold out hands you dominate like KJ, K10, K9, QJ, Q10 ect. The hands that call an UTG raise are hands like high pocket pairs , AK and AQ.
The flop does look good for you on the surface, but really, this is a horrible flop for you. Any kings you dominate folded preflop to your raise. Pocket pairs will only stay if you keep it cheap. So when you win this pot, you're usually only going to win a small pot. Or you are lose a big one vs AK, or a boat.
This isn't results-oriented thinking. Anytime you flop top pair with this hand you have to worry about your opponent. If the flop came KQ4, and your opponent raises you, what do you do? He may have AK, QQ, 44, KK, or air. You may be way ahead or way behind.
The pot was raised (it is large), so you don't want to fold it, but you have no idea what your opponent's raise means. Also, if the pot goes multiway on the same flop, what do you do when your lead is raised and called? My point is, even if you get a "good" flop with this starting hand your going to be uncomfortable for the rest of it. There is a reason KQ is considered a trouble hand by many poker authors.
If you were in position, you can control the action alot better and this hand is much stronger.
You HAVE to ALWAYS think about your position. Position is WAY more important than the cards you are dealt.
