Lead the turn again for $20-30, preferably the higher range of that.

Yea..no way opp is calling without a K, so it looks like you can stack him here. Lead out for 2/3-3/4 the pot like DaNuts says.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

He either has 77-JJ/KJ- or AK/44. There are no draws, so I like a c/r here. If he's fishy enough to call raises with KT/KJ, then bet and try to stack him.

    What'cha know about him?

    If he's tight, check.

If he's loose, plan to play for stacks.

I don't get it. Why bet 30? Would Hero fold to a push? Don't you think he''ll get stacked by AK/44 anyway, and he'll stack Kx too. So it's about maximizing value vs. a PP right?

I only had about 50 hands on the guy so nothing I could really tell about his play and I had just sat down about an orbit ago. I'll post the rest of the hand when I get home but I bet $25 and he min-raised me to $50. Is this a fold/push/call?

I would cry and pull up everything I got on the guy in Poker Tracker.

If he's bluffing here, he's really good at it.

Here is the rest. I put him on a king and wanted the rest of his money so I called. For some reason I figured a push would of got a fold but I'm thinking the call was the wrong play. Turns out my read was wrong but I still pulled out the big "W". Any comments on the line?

    Turn: ($41.50) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $25, UTG+2 raises to $50, Hero calls $25.

    River: ($141.50) 3 (2 players)
    Hero calls $33 (All-In), UTG+2 calls $22.85 (All-In).
Hero shows [ Kd, Qd ] a full house, Kings full of threes.
    UTG+2 doesn't show [ 4c, 4h ] a full house, Fours full of kings.
Hero wins $10.15 from side pot #1 with a full house, Kings full of threes.
Hero wins $184.20 from the main pot with a full house, Kings full of threes.

    Final Pot: $197.35

    What's my play here?
Call me crazy here, but I usually fold preflop (possibly limp). KQ suited IS a nice hand, but UTG... gross. You're getting yourself into a domination problem alot of times with this hand and you are out of position. All you do by raising is fold out hands you dominate like KJ, K10, K9, QJ, Q10 ect. The hands that call an UTG raise are hands like high pocket pairs , AK and AQ.

The flop does look good for you on the surface, but really, this is a horrible flop for you. Any kings you dominate folded preflop to your raise. Pocket pairs will only stay if you keep it cheap. So when you win this pot, you're usually only going to win a small pot. Or you are lose a big one vs AK, or a boat.

This isn't results-oriented thinking. Anytime you flop top pair with this hand you have to worry about your opponent. If the flop came KQ4, and your opponent raises you, what do you do? He may have AK, QQ, 44, KK, or air. You may be way ahead or way behind.

The pot was raised (it is large), so you don't want to fold it, but you have no idea what your opponent's raise means. Also, if the pot goes multiway on the same flop, what do you do when your lead is raised and called? My point is, even if you get a "good" flop with this starting hand your going to be uncomfortable for the rest of it. There is a reason KQ is considered a trouble hand by many poker authors.

If you were in position, you can control the action alot better and this hand is much stronger.

You HAVE to ALWAYS think about your position. Position is WAY more important than the cards you are dealt.

Never read any stickies or announcements
I havn't read the thread yet so I apologize if I'm saying what has already been said.

Just muck this baby preflop. UTG 10-handed is pretty brutal.

In this specific situation, I'd raise rarely, and usually only if there are donkeys behind that are going to pay me off with a hand like KJ or something. I'll also do it on occasion just to mix things up. But this should be a pretty standard fold IMO...

Flop is terrific and you are only reasonably behind AK and 44. Turn is about the blankest blank that could ever blank, and you should be looking to get your money in. Lead, check/raise, whatever. I'm not going broke here only against the tightest and weakest of nits.
