See pre-flop min raise from VILLIAN with a caller behind. Was my raise maybe slightly too high to hide my pockets? Too low to get it heads up maybe and not scare VILLIAN off?

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, A.
VILLIAN raises to $0.2, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.20, Hero raises to $0.75, 4 folds, VILLIAN calls $0.55, MP1 calls $0.55.

Flop comes and the only hands that worry me are QQ, JJ, 77, and QJ. Put in my C-Bet and little behold VILLIAN calls. Maybe he has AK? KQ?

VILLIAN checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $1.75, VILLIAN calls $1.75, MP1 folds.

Card is safe and likely didn't help VILLIAN out either. I want to maximize my profit here without getting him to fold. Do I Push? Bet out and how much? I want to double up here. With a 18% WSD rate and knowing I have likely the best hand, how would you entice him to get him to commit more chips without checking?
