    Default $10NL Push over?

Still trying to work out spots where it's +ev at my stakes to get it all in with tp. Is this one? A bad player would slowplay a set here and could easily raise a weaker ace. Not sure how the flush draw influences things. But I don't know if he's bad or not. Do I need AK to push? How would you react to the raise? Thanks all.

I don't like playing for stacks here, I find at this level when someone puts a raise in against you its danger. There are not a lot of aggresive players here so thats a sign of huge strength.
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

like SantaCruz said, any raise here should be considered. Any Ax you beat is calling, not min-raising. I would expect to see A5 here. Villains are capable of folding week Ax to a push here.

Without a read, if you want to stack off, call and push the turn, maybe then a weak Ax calls

c/minraise on that board looks like a donk minraise to me. I stack here simply because opp can be doing that we sooo much crap we are destroying.

i think push although i don't have any experience at these micro stakes.

he calls with Ax and a flush draw and maybe even random hands played terribly like KK-66. he might have a 5. he might have a gut shot. he might have a pair and a draw. it might be a complete bluff.
i don't know. i assume there are some huge fish at these stakes.

    i would just move allin

Look what beats you here: AA, AK, AQ, A5, A3, 55, 33

reFlop: villian limped in and just called your PFR, so unlikely AA, AK, and maybe AQ.

Flop- villian check-min raise you. At this level, I see allot of min-raises as FDs and/or weak-tightys trying to push peole of hands. I'd expect more of a raise with 2pair+.

You have position on villian and have almost the same implied odds to call here, so why not call. AJ is not a good hand to push with unless you have 2pair+.

I see this a lot more with a flush draw or an Ax more than any other. ONly a moron pushes this with A5, A3, 55 or 33 instead of trying bring you along. Are you stacking off here to a set?? How far will you take the hand. If it's all the way, push. If your shooting for pot control and want to show it down, go into check/calll mode.

This is along the same thing I was thinking.
Although I have seen people try to be tricky, just calling your raise with AK, or AQ, or they even could have AJ and you will end up splitting.

I think I should just call, a push is good if he has a weaker ace and can't release it (common) but sucks against any of his other hands. If he keeps betting big at me I will have a tough decision but he may trap with a big hand allowing me to showdown for less than my stack. Anyway this time he had the set of 5's so I'm a donk.

Yuk, the dreaded minraise. I have found that it's a monster (or what your opponent thinks is a monster) about 95% of the time.

Yeah I thought of that as well. That's why I tend to find donks end up losing thier stack to a flush from me to thier set.

I really doubt he calls a push here with Ax that doesnt beat you. He might call with A9+ but most of those beat you and I doubt many people (even fish) call an overbet push with <A8.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.
