    himself fucker.
    Hand one is fine.

Hand 2, fold the flop. Raise the turn. Don't chase a two outer on that board. It's only going to get scarier for an ace so you're less likely to get paid off for hitting it.

    hand one:
fine, except the river. What's with that minimum bet? Unless you're sure he's going to raise you. If he's holding shaky holdings, he'll just call.

    Hand two:
should have folded that one at the flop. all the 6's beat you and the aces beat you, but since you hit the turn, we'll analyze post that.
Your play is fine there. What do you have to be afraid of? quad 6's and a straight flush. Let them catch the flush perhaps and then go.

He's Roger. He raised AI on the river.

The reason why I called the $1 bet in hand 2, is b/c both of the players were the stack leaders, and were playing very loose. I was thinking they were just betting to take own the pot right there. with a $1 investment, if I hit, and they were chasing something, I could take down a huge pot. And thats what happened.

Isn't that what implied odds are?

By the way when referring to position, what's CO?

    EDIT: Meant hand 2.

Roger, calling the bet in hand 1 was fine; good play infact. It's hand 2 that they're saying you should have folded on the flop.

Hand 2, I like a min-raise on the turn. Getting more of their chips in while not scaring them away is a good thing. Then you can be more likely to be called when you push on the river.

CO = cutoff = position just before the button

    I'm sorry I actually meant hand 2.

Isn't that what implied odds are all about?

Thank for the info on CO.

I think you should have raised on the flop on hand 1. Personally, I prefer to raise when I'm assured to have the best hand and when there is some risk that I won't on the next card, especially when another opponent seems confident in his holdings as well. Just calling with 2 diamonds on the board is a bad idea for a couple reasons. Not only could someone draw to a flush, but a third diamond could kill your action if no one does. So, I think you should make some kind of a raise on the flop, and then on the turn make a large bet or raise (unless the board pairs, in which case you may want to find some creative means of getting your opponents all-in), all-in if necessary. You only want this to go to the river if the board pairs, or if one or more opponents are all-in before then.

On hand two, your opponent probably has either a 6 or a flush on the turn, and a raise will help gauge his commitment to the hand, as well as build the pot. You may get reraised, and then you have the option either to reraise or just call and see how your opponent behaves on the river. The strength your opponent shows on the river, I think, should determine the amount that you bet or raise.

Also, I think there is nothing wrong with calling a small bet on the flop in hand 2. Though it's unlikely, you may actually have the best hand, and if your opponent has a 6 or flush draw, you can win an enormous pot by hitting a 7 as you did.
