100nl best hand but dont know how best to get value.

Villian is 20/2/4 over 50 hands, but that doesn't much matter for my purposes here.

I am often lost on how I should get my money in here. I think it's most likely that villian has an ace. Since the villian is unknown, I really think I played this wrong, and I knew it as I was about to do it, but I couldn't quite figure how I'd go about the next two streets, so I just pushed.

So what are you thinking to do after villian minraises?

Obviously, villain doesn't have AA or KK in this situation. So why did you make a push? Do you think that villain will call your all-in bet? If I was villain, I would fold to your push. So what were you afraid of?
Are you afraid to be outdrawn here? If so what is the range of hands that you put villain on?
{AK, QQ, JJ, TT} range is possible. So is { QJ, QT, JT}. Are you afraid that villain is on a straight draw, it is possible that his min. raise is trying to buy a free card. So what? If you put the range above in PokerStove, you get this:

You are a huge favorite. Your all-in push was a waste.

Like I said, I'm not afraid of anything, and am sure I have the best hand. As well as Ax being what he most likely has.

I pushed because I didn't have any satisfactory plans for the latter two streets. I am inquiring about thought process and why a different line will get more value, if another line even could.

He had $77 at the deal and you want to get it all in. So you want to leave a 1/2 - 1/3 pot size bet on the river for him to call. Leading the flop worked great, he raised and if you call there's $45.5 in the pot on the turn and he has $55.5 left. You can now bet around half pot If he pushes over then great, if he calls then on the river the pot is $95 say and he only has $30 left. Tough for him to fold with some kind of hand. That would be my plan on the flop, of course the plan might change on later streets.

Getting away from pushes are easier than getting away from value betting.

Act afraid of his re-raise... by calling. Then I'd lead 1/2 pot on turn. Just like someone else mentioned: Villain will find it hard to get away from sticking in another 1/4 pot on the river for the remainder of their stack.

If you don't get it all in on the flop, you still have two streets to accomplish it.
