Default 100NL - Bottom set on drawy board vs reg

Villain is outside_lol, a 20/14/2.6 reg I recently stacked with q9 vs his KK when I open raised BU, he 3bet, I 4bet, he flatted with KK and flop came q9x and he shoved.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP3 ($99)
    CO ($112.50)
    Button ($104.80)
    SB ($168.35)
    BB ($94.50)
    UTG ($194.65)
    UTG+1 ($71)
    MP1 ($99)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8, 8.
3 folds, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, CO calls $4, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($9.50) 9, J, 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $7, CO calls $7.

    Turn: ($23.50) T (2 players)
Hero bets $16, CO calls $16.

no and also I think he's going to be checking behind a lot w/ Qs.

Wierd as it sounds I think without history you have to bet/fold cos I just don't see him shoving anything other than better FHs here.

Who the fuck knows. I think you'd love to give him a chance to make a hero call though.

That said, bet/shove is still a pretty good line.

How is he not raising a set/2P/straight on this flop?

good point. I dunno I still don't expect to get payed off by worse very often at all and he's going to check behind too much w/ a queen and he'll still turn up w/ JT/TT/J9 sometimes.

    Actually I think 2p2 wins this w/ $25/call...

I really don't think he's shoving this river vey much at all, he's a decent thinking 20/14 not some maniac. I'm getting more confused by this hand it's a wierd spot.
