100NL: Bruffing in a BvB vs Reg
Villain is a reg (illini43) I've got at (over 600 hands):
15/11.5/2 35% W$WSF
He doesn't give up his BB very much to a steal which probably makes preflop bad, but it at least gives some justification to the river given that I could put him on a fairly wide range there.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
CO ($20)
Button ($109.70)
Hero (SB) ($107.65)
BB ($103.80)
UTG ($159.30)
MP ($100.65)
Preflop: Hero is SB with J 7
4 folds, Hero raises to $4, BB calls $3
Flop: ($8) 6 3 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, BB calls $5
He folds to 50% of flop cbets, so given it's a BvB, I figure he could be floating me here with a bunch include a high spade, Axs that's paired one of those lowers, an OSED etc...so I decide to fire again.
Turn: ($18) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $12, BB calls $12
River's a scare card and I figure I'm repping 2pr+ so he'll have to lay down his Ahigh draw/1pr/misc floaty hands to the third barrel.
River: ($42) K (2 players)
Hero bets $26
How'd I do
