Default 100NL Call this PF with AQ?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($108.60)
    Button ($92.20)
    SB ($84.60)
    BB ($27.50)
    UTG ($98)
    UTG+1 ($78.70)
    MP1 ($100)
    MP2 ($99.40)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, Q.
    2 folds, MP1 raises to $3, 1 fold, Hero ???

    ---

    MP1 is a 15/5 over 400 hands.

I'm behind his hand range, but is position enough to overcome that?

Do you call here with position with AQo? What about with AQs?

i don't think the suitedness should make a big enough difference to go from fold to call.

    Call. He's not 7/4.

Look for 2 Q's or an Ace. Just as much KK or QQ as AK or AA.

    Easy fold.

Against a wider range I may call or reraise, but the guy is 15/5 opening with a lot of players still to act. If you're not already crushed, and there's a good chance you are, you're not going to win any money after the flop.

i don't think calling 3xBB raises vs. a tighty hoping for flopped trips or top pair is a good idea. i doubt you'll get paid off very big with either hand very often.
