These hands are played rather oddly. Im not sure what you are scared of, you very likely have the best hand in both cases.

In hand one the pot is pretty big so I would just bet the flop and likely stack of against anyone who isnt an insufferable nit. Im definitly not giving 4 players a free turn.

Hand 2, I'd just bet/fold the turn for 1/2 pot or so, then either block the river or c/c a reasonable bet. As played I might fold unless the opp seems bluffy - not the best river card there.
