Default 2 awkward overpair line checks, and a pf question

These felt awkward. I tried putting my thoughts and questions in the actual HH this time.

    saw flop|saw showdown

    MP2 ($50)
    MP3 ($50.50)
    CO ($30)
    Button ($126.53)
    SB ($52.25)
    BB ($61.69)
    UTG ($50.70)
    Hero ($50.80)
    UTG+2 ($97.51)
    MP1 ($65.41)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J, J. CO posts a blind of $0.50. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, 7 folds, BB calls $1.50.

    Flop: ($4.75) 9, 8, 7 (2 players)
BB bets $2.38, Hero raises to $7, BB raises to $11.62, Hero calls $4.62.

I have no reads and am new to the table. Is this a good call to his 3bet, or would you 4bet with a gutshot/overpair? Folding seems uber weak.

    Turn: ($27.99) Q (2 players)
BB bets $5.79, Hero calls $5.79.

His turn bet seems so weak. Raise? I'd hate to get 3bet again.

    River: ($39.57) 5 (2 players)
BB bets $5.14, Hero calls $5.14.

    Final Pot: $49.85

What do you think of my logic and line?

    UTG+1 ($49.25)
    MP1 ($53.05)
    MP2 ($49.25)
    CO ($41.14)
    Button ($51.35)
    Hero ($71.90)
    BB ($50)
    UTG ($64.41)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, K. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 4 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $3, 1 fold, UTG calls $2.50, UTG+1 folds.

    Flop: ($7) 9, 9, 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, UTG raises to $10, Hero calls $5.

UTG seemed passive at 25/0/.8 but only over 32 hands. So his flop min raise was scary. But, it was an INSTA-miniraise. I took that as likely to be some other PP "seeing where he's at" rather then a monster, which I'd expect would take more time.

    Turn: ($27) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $18.09, Hero calls $18.09.

I stuck with my logic on the flop and tried to induce more bets so a worse pocket pair will try to protect against my "overcards." I realized any meningful bet commits me, so I figured I have more EV by check/calling a similar size bet. But at this point is it time to just check/raise all in or would that fold too many worse hands?

    River: ($63.18) 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG is all in, Hero calls $33.32.

As played, I think I shoulda block bet the river, unless I have a read he bets if shown weakness. I had to call after playing so weakly.

    Final Pot: $96.50

    MP2 ($51.30)
    MP3 ($83.80)
    CO ($45.65)
    Button ($127.65)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, K. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
    UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, UTG+2 raises to $1, 2 folds, MP3 calls $1, 1 fold, Button calls $1, 1 fold, Hero ????

First hand at the table so no reads. Do you reraise or call? If you call and flop TPTK, do you lead out or what?

Hand #1 - You need to finish the betting on the flop. You either think you're ahead here, or you don't. What reads do you have on your opponent? His betting looks like a message that he has your hand beat. I opt to fold after his 3bet MOST OF THE TIME HERE. If this player is a very aggressive player, you might considering just going all in at this point.

Hand #2 - I don't mind the way you played this at all. By flat calling if you think he has a PP, you're giving odds to drawout.

Hand #3 - Make it 3x to go, and see where you're at. You have great position on him.

By calling the flop raise, we can see how he acts on the turn since we have position, and this can help give us more info on whether or not we think we are good.
