Hand 2. The second shove his 3bet preflop looked to me like FPS which I thought he tended to do. He was a horribly bad player imo.

against really bad opponents you might felt hand 2 preflop as well.

Both are fine pushes. I think in hand 1 you should raise more on the flop to $3.50-$4.00.
