    KT makes boat on river.

I think villian has two pair on flop, maybe combo draw.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

I'm not sure what you really beat here. To me, it looks like 77, or a combo draw, both which have you beat.

I would probably dump the turn.

Villain has str8 draw or flush draw an enormous percentage of the time here. I think dumping this on any street other than the river is throwing value away.

Agreed. Why call the river then?

Because a good player would push all in on the river with a made hand when he knew that his villain made trip kings.

I personally don't expect you to stack off if I think you're a solid TAG.

This size of his river value bet gave me a good price to call even if his range beat me, plus almost eliminated the chance of him having a flush or a full house. The natural play with a flush or full house would be to push and hope I make a crying call. I honestly believed the only hand he has here that beats me is KQ.

The range I put on him after the river bet is K2-K9 KQ T7 89 or occasionally a baby flush.

Well, I would bet closer to $60 with a made flush here. Pushing $150~ into an $88 pot makes me believe my trips aren't good, no?

Would he c/r a weak K? I'm not sure if K2-K9 is really in his range... I was thinking KQ, T7, 89, QJ, with respective combo draws, etc.

If you think he'll call $60, 50% of the time, but he'll call $150, 25% of the time, then betting $150 is the best play.

C/ring a weak K wouldn't be a bad play here, since I am betting out this flop with a draw much more often than a King.

I think it's more along the lines of, KKKJ will call $60, >75% of the time, and will call $150, <25% of the time.

I'd agree if he was up against a fish, but assuming he knows you're a solid player, pushing the river is just throwing away value, since you are never calling without at least a flush.

I'd just make a weak fold on the flop. You are either crushed, or a slight favorite at best, meaning reverse implied odds could be potentially huge.

That's what I was thinking about the flop c/r.
