You're right, my range for him was higher on the flop. His raise on the flop tells me he's either got the high Q or has made a set. It's a drawless board so his re-raise could just be testing me for a bluff so I just call with 2 pair, hoping to see another Q or a low card.
Sweet, I get the Q to fill my boat and hopefull his too. I check to look weak hoping he'll bet it for me, which he doesn't *now he's getting tricky*. I don't see someone playing a low boat here like that, I guess it would happen, but I don't think it would be a good play.
Now I think he has a high Q because all other boats are out (or at least unlikely). He's probably got me on a worse Q, but isn't worried about Q8 or QT. Maybe he's thinking KQ or QJ or nothing at all. My overbet looks like a horrible bluff at this point and he's got what he thinks is the winning hand.
So yeah, I had him on the case Q by the time we got to the river. AQ, KQ were most likely and I didn't think it was QJ or QT, I don't see those hands re-raising on the flop.
