WHAT?!?! Why are you playing this so passively?

You think he has 33?? Even so that can't be his entire range. And I couldn't disagree more, he is definitely calling with 22. I think you should have re-raised the flop, or at least check raised the turn. I don't know how you go to the river like this, but I can't see not raising here.

Also, what is his 3 bet percentage??
ISF while watching me play: "Wow, you're really butchering this."

At least Min-raise, something, don't just call because you want to showdown... If you've gotten all the value that you think you can get out of his obvious JJ+ here, then let him make a "hard fold".

Not leading the river was a mistake against this villian IMO... He checks behind a lot having got here the way he did...
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

Oh, Just noticed that Villian is Button and not UTG...

He probably does NOT have JJ+ here then...but to put him on quads is ridiculous, if he has it, then PAY IT OFF!

Unless your image is the nit of all nits, he is DEFINITELY calling it off with 22, and folding 88, TT-JJ. just try to get it all in the middle, better situations don't come very often.
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

as played. if i ship river, what else can i have? if i had a hand like JJ, TT i would just call. im 12/9 btw. im pretty sure 22 gets away if i ship river.

or maybe im being result oriented and should just shut up and ship it in.

if I didn't check raise the turn I'm leading the river here. as played I'm deffinately comming over the top and not calling.. you're paying off any better hands everytime unfortunately..

bad luck about the quads.. reminds me of the hand b/w negreanu and hansen on high stakes poker..

150bb deep isn't deep enough to fold top full-house vs fear of quads without huge reads.
On that flop you gotta be planning how best to get all your chips in - what is your plan here? does it involve turn cr or lead?
etc. River call if you're an uber-nit with a monster read, shove over if you're everyone else.

Off the top of your head, what range do you think you have when you c/r the turn here?
  14. #14
doesnt matter cos 100nl regs don't fold full houses regardless of how transparent our line is and we have the toppest.

if he gets all in with 22 more than 1/3rd of the time that should be your aim. I'd need a pretty big read to know/ suspect that was the case so stop dithering and aim for his stack one way or the other.

This thread tilts me so god damn much. Fold preflop if you don't want to get the monies in with top boat. Infact you should pretty much fold everything that isnt quads+ asdghjlasdgkhlajksjsd

if you're serious about not being confident that you could shove here, your problem isn't really about this particular hand; it's that you aren't bluffing nearly enough/vbetting wide enough and have developed a nitty image which is unfortunately accurate.

this is true. i made the switch from sngs to full ring just a month ago so i don't really know too much about it yet.

someone want to help me get a little trickier? bluffing was always a pretty weak part of my game, if u guys know of any helpful posts please share.

i think everyone in this thread is way off base and it's a really close decision. not leveling.
