why should i raise the flop or the turn zook? what do you put him on? i think the turn bet pretty much defines his hand as a piece of crap, and he has at most probably 6 outs going to the river. if he does have complete crap then he probably isn't stickin around if i raise, and if he does have an overpair or something he probably isn't folding. looks like WA/WB to me...
A few reasons... 1) I'll do it with air a lot, 2) while your hand has showdown value, there are a few hands that beat you that probably fold to a raise (TT-77) and if he's terrible some worse hands that might call (AK/AQ) and then check when they miss, 3) a good player (which I know is unlikely, given his line) would recognize you're weak when you flat-call the turn and bet the river big - I can think of a couple of 100NL regulars who min-bet HU and when flat-called, bet big the next street, 4) metagame, I think an aggro image helps me get my monsters paid off.
Honestly, I don't mind the call down, and you may have gotten the most value out of the hand. It's just not the way I play it against an unknown.
