A2o preflop decision

Players are calling preflop raises very lightly*.Knowing this do you fold,call,or raise preflop here with A2o and WHY?As played then do you check or bet this flop and WHY?

If we limp, how are they playing bigger aces? We'll have position on anyone but BU, so I think a raise is okay. That they will call light tends to do little but make me go a step further and consider how they play postflop. What do they look for to continue? I love a bet if they give up on a lot of flops. If they play back a lot postflop, then the bet does quite a bit less as we're not really learning anything about where we are or taking control of the hand...

Postflop I bet the one-high-card flops. You might be called by a straight or flush draw, but otherwise it's hard for them to call without the high card, since it's squarely inside your preflop raising range.

I'm asking what they are going to do with hands like A8 if we just call preflop. I didn't specifically ask, but I'd also try to consider how many big aces (AK, AQ, etc) they will reraise with. It's a question of when/if their preflop play can provide us with any information.

You do want to consider what range they are calling with preflop, and how your hand plays against that range. The lighter they are calling, the better our hand is likely to be, but the less information we have about what they may hold. Thus I also like to consider their postflop tendencies. It they are calling with T8s, are they folding to a c-bet on a QT4 flop? What about 65s on a K63 flop? I guess I'm figuring we have minimal fold equity preflop, but wondering how much we'll have when we don't hit postflop.

Ahhh,thank you once again jeff for taking the time to reply to me.To answer your questions.They wouldnt raise if I limped with probably anything less then ace ten having a ace in there hand.As far as your second question.Its a bit more difficult to answer,from what I remember they would call with mid pair or better,including draws if they hit the flop.
