Standard raise preflop on this table is 3x to 4x, I only have one caller so I play on the lighter side. Villain seems to like his hand on the flop but hasn't given me any real information with the preflop call and call of the potsized flop bet. The board is pretty well coordinated with the Q on the turn and I am out of position. recommended play on turn (and river)?

Id raise to atleast $2 preflop. On the flop is this a small overbet? Here a PSB is fine, yours is probably close to that. I dont like a checkraise on this turn, what are you trying to represent? Id lead here for about $8. As played I would probably check/call the river, a diamond makes this a little more difficult, especially the 8 of diamonds, a check fold wouldnt be horrible, but Im really not sure. Those stats definitely do look like somebody that would chase a flush draw, but usually a turn check-raise would scare those off, so Im not all that sure really.

I make it 2.5 to go preflop, and I lead the flop like you did. I don't think this is a good spot to checkraise the turn, so I'd just lead for 3/4 the pot and call a raise. Then I probably make a small value bet on the river.

I think my line looks a lot like QQ that hit a set here. Preflop raise, bet out on a 10 high flop and check raise when the Q falls.

That's what I thought. He never played back at me anywhere so I was really in the dark as to what he had. I don't have enough hands to know what his range is. AQ/KQ seem possible here.

    Only $18 behind in a $36 pot. I have to push, check/call or check/fold

I sometimes buy in short when I first sit down until I get a feel for the table. I think this is a leak and I need to stop the practice. If I had, my river situation would have been much better.

I though a check call was bad on the river because of villains line I thought it likely that he would check behind and that there was a reasonable chance he may have been calling down with 2 pair. At 3:1 I would have to make the call if I checked and he pushed and I thought that the fold equity I had with the four straight and diamonds out made a push my best option.

I pushed, op thought for a long time and folded. no showdown

    Thanks for the feedback.
