    Default AA line-check

I know I played this poorly, but I'd appreciate a line check.

It's not that poor...I would just bet $8 on the turn and check-behind on the river though, unless I was fairly confident that he was calling with an overpair weaker than mine or somesuch.

I'd bump it up a little more preflop since your position is so bad. Then probably bet a little less ($9-10) on the turn and check-call the river.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Ok. I agree I should have raised more pre-flop, and checking the river sounds like a good idea. How big a river bet should I call? I hadn't been at this table long, so I don't have a read on MP1.

Agreed, bump it up preflop, and also, if there's anything to be learned, don't call such big river raises at these limits. The guy seems to be in love with his hand, you could be looking at all kinds of stuff.

Woops - I didn't read the HH properly - for some reason I had you in position on this guy...that's not right, which kinda forces you to bet like $8 on the turn and $10-12 on the river and you probably have to fold to his minraise at that point, though it's sure tough.
It looks like he flopped a boat judging by the action. Your entire line screams that you have an overpair and he still raises you on the end...not a good sign.

I raise to at least 2.5 preflop, probably to 3.0 since party is loose as hell. I bet the flop probably about 3/4 pot, turn 1/2 pot, and river 1/3 pot and I call any river raise from donks and fold to any river raise from taggs (10-13 vpip, 5-6 pfr).

Get pokertracker and poker ace hud so you can take advantage of vpip and preflop raise percentage information about your opponents.
