    hmmm,

what's your plan on the river if he bets.. 1/3pot, 1/2 pot, push?

I'd -consider- check/calling this turn for pot control reasons and to give a worse hand a chance to put more money into the pot, given that we have the nut redraw.

To be honest, if we are going to call on this river, IMO it's better to bet ourselves. The flush draw got there so he's not betting a busted draw if we check. If we check to him, he probably bets all hands that beat ours and checks behind those that don't.

I put him on something like KQ and push. It's pretty thin though IMO.

Against some opponents, there's no shame in check/folding.

fwiw if I really think that I was good and he had nothing, c/c is a good play b/c it lets him bet a worse hand (ie he was chasing a gutshot or something.. I've seen much worse.)

I play it same way.Life does not end if AA gets cracked-as long as you do your part to minimize the bleeding.

I think I fold to any bet 1/2 pot-sized or bigger. It may be weak, but the second ten adds a couple of hands that beat me to his range, and I could see a flush playing that line.

    I hear you.

I'm not sure I follow you here. You really think he's not betting a busted draw here? It turned out he didn't, but a good player is capable of it, imo. And I think he's more likely to if I show weakness by check/calling the turn.
