Omg I've just realised something huge that I should have thought about a LONG time ago...

Total postflop AF requires a much smaller sample of hands for looser players. Sounds simple/ fucking obvious but it's going to help meeeee so i thought I'd share my retardation in case anybody else is the same

I always look at how many postflop actions I have on them in the detailed stats to judge postflop AF reliability.

Stations who are like 50/2/0 & fold to flop bet 80% of the time I find give away their predictable style after as few as 50 hands...

It makes sense that someone who's 15/10 would take about 3 times as many hands to reveal their postflop tendencies than someone who's 45/x.

awesome man i think you found your biggest leak. this is like THE monster line, and you just can't pay it off unless villain is a tard.
Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.

Yeah man, I guess I've really gotta start taking stations more seriously when they wake up.

So if this station had TT-KK / A7 would you expect them to call you down on three streets instead of pushing turn? I could see a station min-raising flop with one of those hands...

I'm a pay-off bitch who will stack off with Aces just about everytime and I wouldn't think twice about hitting the fold button here.

On the flip side, they're going to tend to have weaker hands because they're playing a wider pre-flop range. Hence you're going to see more calling even if they played the same post-flop as you.

LOL! My manager just walked over to my desk as I lol'd so loud and banged my desk

But yeah, I'm in the same boat here. I love these wake-up-threads where I something finally really clicks.
